ABOUT THE FOUNDER, DJ GEOMETRIX
Brian Sadiarin a.k.a. DJ Geometrix is a staple in the D.C. nightlife scene, regularly performing and holding residencies at every major nightclub & lounge in the city. Winning numerous national DJ competitions early in his career gained him recognition as Breakthrough DJ of the Year by The Scene Magazine as well as listed as one of the Best DJs in D.C. by the City Paper and The Washington Post.
DJ Geometrix's early accomplishments have led to DJing for some of the world's biggest brands such as MTV, HP, Vans, Vogue, GQ, Levi's, Ralph Lauren, Cadillac, Scion, Royal Caribbean, Red Bull, Sprite, McDonald's, Absolut, Belvedere, Heineken, and many more. It also led him to DJ for celebrities such as Lindsay Lohan, Goldie Hawn, Jenny McCarthy, Hangover's Jamie Chung, Nick Cannon, athletes from the Washington Redskins, Wizards & Capitals as well as sharing the stage with artists such as Armin Van Buren, Cobra Starship, The Ting Tings, Diddy, Lil' Jon, A- Trak, NERVO, just to name a few. He's been featured in well-known publications such as XLR8R, Best Events, DJ Times, URB, Washington Times, Washingtonian, On Tap, and Go Magazine. He was also mentioned in the published book, "ON THE RECORD: The Scratch Academy Guide" by Luke Crisell, Phil White and Rob Principe.
In 2010, DJ Geometrix made the transformation from DJ to businessman as he co-founded the Beat Refinery, the Premier DJ School in the Mid- Atlantic with locations in Bethesda, MD and Herndon, VA. The students, of all ages, learn how to scratch, mix, and produce music. From humble beginnings, Geometrix has secured himself full-on legend-status for his contributions to the D.C. DJ scene and the art of turntablism worldwide.
